“Thank you all so much for the opportunity of receiving this scholarship. I am so lucky to receive this for a second year. I really look forward to working in a hospital in Iowa after graduation. I haven been blessed to grow up in such an amazing community and state that supports each other. Thank you!”
– Morgan Van Ruler, Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon

“I’m honored to be chosen as a recipient of the IHERF scholarship and appreciative of the funds I can put toward my educational expenses. Graduate college is quite a financial undertaking so this money will help reduce the mental and financial stress that comes with being a full-time student while still working full time as a nurse. This scholarship’s support will ensure I can complete my DNP degree to eventually fulfill a need in health administration in hospitals in eastern Iowa.”
